I’m cheesing hard with this one, but hey, the types of emotions that manifest these poems can do that. No shame.
We were standing near a shed to meet,
as freezing rain drenched our clothes,
sending shivers running from head to feet,
but despite those weather woes,
you were there with excited eyes,
kissing me with frozen lips,
making me one of the luckiest guys
to have someone so beautiful and sweet,
go through that for me under the moonlight,
where we created our own body heat,
and gave the moon itself something to behold in the night.
