Slated for a 2014 release, this is the posted presented for Godzilla.
I remember seeing the 1998 Godzilla at some point. I’m not sure if I saw it in theaters or on home release, but I recall being young and absolutely in awe of Godzilla roaming the streets. And I was terrified of course. I’ve always loved monster movies like King Kong, Cloverfield, The Hulk, etc. and there’s something innately special about Godzilla.
And jeez, look at who is all involved. First off, I love Warner Brothers, so there’s that. But also, you have Bryan Cranston, the brilliant Breaking Bad actor involved. Then there is Frank Darabont’s script (although multiple people have reportedly worked on it)? Yeah, I’m on board.
Plus, with sixteen years of technical enhancement, I’m sure the film will have some nice eye candy going on.
