Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
lurch forward like the
loch ness monster, unveil now,
and show your beauty.
you left me in the
lurch, holding the bags of what
once was, but no more.
depression leaves you
in the lurch, but it does so
anonymously.
Our relationship
was about to enter the
next stage; then your lurch.
lurch lurch lurch lurch lurch —
that was the bee today, drunk
on nectar, wings wild.
when it came to the
lion, there was no such thing
as lurch, just control.
with a lurch, I sat
up, the book at a good part,
bubbling with intrigue.
for some, winter comes
like a lurch from warmer times,
but for me: Welcome.
lurch to the left, lurch
to the right, and promise me
that yummy chaos.
drunk on losing her,
I lurch from darkness to more
darkness, lost at sea.
