Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

constant negative
thoughts metastasize until
there is nothing left.

constant love also
constant insecurity.
Pain only constant.

pain is a constant
throughline because it is raw —
happiness fleeting.

depression is the
one constant in my life, it
will never leave me.

depression is the
one constant in my life; it’s
discomforting hum.

depression is the
one constant in my life; it’s
that well-worn jacket.

she was a constant
once, now spoken of in the
past tense — constant not.

bee has a constant
hum to it, too, but not from
depression — buzzing.

can a bee get sad
or does the constant flower
love shield the sadness?

good thing for zebra
is that lion’s hunger is
not constant; sleep is.
