Rebellion

Photo prompt courtesy of Natalie Bowers. My latest from Three Line Thursday, which was fortunate enough to receive the following feedback and a 2nd place finish:

“THE SUNLIGHT BEING AN INVASIVE FORCE CREATES A SENSE OF UNCERTAINTY HERE; WHERE THE SECOND LINE SUGGESTS A GRATIFYING EFFECT, THE THIRD PULLS THE CARPET OUT FROM UNDER THE READER UNVEILING A SURPRISINGLY BLATANT DISTASTE. WELL REVEALED.” 

As usual, thirty words, three lines, ten per line. My entry:

sunlight pricks my skin, burrowing in
to birth light where there was none,
where it was not welcomed.
