Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
together we were
one, not realizing that
it was a mirage.
we’re not together,
a sentence that still doesn’t make
any sense to me.
together, my twins,
depression/anxiety,
volley me around.
together, they work
to thwart me at every turn,
and upend my life.
together the bees
worked, always working, making
the nectar for queen.
together lions
make a formidable pride;
they’re unstoppable.
together bears make
a sloth or sleuth of bears, which
makes them sound more fun.
together, we call
alligators a not-so
-nice congregation.
together as one,
the army caterpillars
came to menace me.
together, cheetahs
are a coalition, which
sounds lovely, helpful.
