Haiku Challenge for Oct. 21: ‘Bend’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

bend me to your will
and I promise I won’t break.
Just kidding, I do.

I’m a delicate
soap bubble, bend anyway
and dirty me up.

break me, bend me, mold
me, do whatever you want,
but please just love me.

around the bend, I
look for a reprieve from this
insanity here.

decompression me,
I am accepting the bends
sickness until death.

I’m stuck, spent my life
bending over backwards for
all except myself.

depression bends me
to its will, a slavish mark
in on the self-con.

the world bends around
an insanity axis
up is down, down up.

the book bends, croaking
to be read, to be devoured.
crack my spine, it says.

when the lion bends
it is to bend toward the fresh
meat; blood in the mane.
