Haiku Challenge for Dec. 14: ‘Waste’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five (yes, I’m still doing five!) haiku poems:

waste not, want not, but
I wasted time together
and I still want more.

wasting away like
a trampled flower in a
garden without sun.

wasting away, a
depression candle without
aroma, just burn.

wasted your sustenance.
subsisting on broken dreams.
waiting your return.

don’t waste a grave on
this; roll me into a ditch
to nourish flowers.
