Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
Defy the decay
until moments before the
grave; defy decay.
Defy the powers
that be; be your own person —
power defiance.
They say to defy
the dying of the light, but
there never was any.
Defy the dark cloud?
The dark cloud will always win.
Learn to live with it.
Antelope defies logic
by getting near the lion,
but it was hungry.
Love defies logic.
But a life well-lived often
defies such logic.
The bee can defy
gravity with little wings.
Imperceptible.
Defy the pressure
to become something you’re not,
and become yourself.
Defy prevailing
opinion when “right” needs to
prevail there instead.
Defy me, the wind
said to the eager pilot.
Pilot said okay.
