Haiku Challenge for Oct. 3: ‘Break’

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

break me, and again;
I’ve come to like the pieces
of this mosaic.

break me, and again;
the hard edges prove I’m still
alive, but just so.

break me, and again;
why not, there is nothing left,
as long as you’re whole.

depression breaks you
not with one intense pain, but
full body numbing.

depression breaks you
sending you to the bottom,
and further still yet.

anxiety breaks
you into frantic pieces
that’re unsolvable.

give me a break, I’ve
had enough, peace at last, if
for just a moment.

was I that hard to
be around, that you needed
a break from me, us?

lion took a break
from chasing the zebra to
bask in the sun here.

bee took a break from
his pollination to buzz
over to the lake.
