Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
all I have left did
just that, left me picking up
the hollow pieces.
all of my time sifts
through my fingers, not like sand,
but acid, melting.
I gave you my all,
and it wasn’t enough for you.
I puddled, empty.
But maybe that’s what
I tell to myself, my all
still sits here, untapped.
all the days without
you have gone hard and slow to
to pull me apart.
depression takes all,
dangles it in your face to
show what could have been.
I got all the way
to depression’s bottom, and
found it went further.
all the books on my
shelves will mutiny, topple,
if I don’t read them.
all the bees swarmed at
the human stupid enough
to get near the hive.
all the lions gazed
at stupid humans walking
in a lion’s den.
