Haiku Challenge for Nov. 18: ‘Dip’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

Curious, I dip
my toes into love’s blind pool.
Never retrieve them.

Depression dip for
sale: Bottomless bitter taste
causing food coma.

I dip below the
surface to find my breath there.
But only darkness.

life is a drip dip
dripping drips in dips like a
an insane curtsy.

sanity took a
dip in the rushing river
of insanity.

you should trade my stock;
I’m expected to take a
precipitous dip.

the sun takes a dip
on the horizon, teasing
the night owls watching.

I’m enjoying this
cyanide dip on offer;
thank you very much.

the books over there
don’t dip; soldiers waiting for
the orders to come.

our love took a dip;
we lost it between the cracks
and never found it.
