Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five (yes, I’m still doing five!) haiku poems:
you left your beauty
mark upon my thin, pale skin.
unrequited sear.
you had a Crawford
beauty mark I loved; now it’s
a crawdad snapping.
depression beauty
is savoring sunlight through
dark, dusty curtains.
depression beauty
is appreciating the
mess as a feature.
beauty, making art
out of spilled blood, smearing it
into something nice.
