Haiku Challenge for Dec. 18: ‘Rush’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five (yes, I’m still doing five!) haiku poems:

rush of love to my
brain causes an aneurysm
and the love seeps out.

rush of love we had,
an untamable river
I’ve been drowning in.

the depression rush:
racing to the bottom, but
unable to hit.

anxiety rush:
setting nerves aflame like an
inner night bonfire.

falling from the sky
unparalleled rush, hoping
it will never end.
