Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
holy spirit drunk
on spirits, memories past —
a hangover life.
holy spirit blues:
swept in its breathy current,
drowning in its warmth.
holy depression.
a halo made of sewage
dripping down my head.
holy depression,
immersion among the clouds,
all of which are dark.
behold our holy
love, a creative show of
hearty destruction.
