Haiku Challenge for Jan. 11: ‘Push’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 5 haiku poems.

the wind gives a push;
I am a dandelion
digging in its roots.

the wind gives a push;
I am a leaf swimming on
currents of whimsy.

the wind gives a push;
I am love on a candle
wick, wavering. Gone.

the wind gives a push;
I am the depression dirt
blowing on the corpse.

the wind gives a push;
I am my anxiety.
We make tornados.
