Haiku Challenge for Feb. 8: ‘Enough’

Pictured is the Krog Street Tunnel in Atlanta, Georgia. I took the photo myself. I’ll do a longer post about the Tunnel on a later date.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

he has had enough
grains of sand choking bottles
to be freed from here.

he has had enough
dust screaming at the vents to
reach the other side.

he has had enough
graffiti dripping off walls
mumbling death rattle.

he has had enough
tea gone cold in the morning
soul settles below.

he has had enough
shadows drooping in closets
eternal wrinkles.
