Haiku Challenge for Feb. 27: ‘Laugh’

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

laugh away the pain
like trying to drown in glass
sharp suffocation.

laugh away the pain
like trying to climb sand dunes
with hands of cement.

laugh away the pain
like trying to breathe daisies
a love allergy.

laugh away the pain
like trying to walk on clouds
impaled in the earth.

laugh away the pain
like trying to collect shades
of gray in a jar.
