Today’s five-line poem was inspired by John Lennon and “Mind Games”:

Mind Guerrilla

my neurons are playing guerrilla warfare —
withholding serotonin; they instead spray
memories at me like Agent Orange. The way
it settles toxic in my brain’s soil for years
and kills me before I know I’m dead.
