Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
I’m the sands of time
dripping, dripping, dripping to
my oblivion.
I’m the sands of time
without a bottom to drip
into, I float on.
I’m the sands of time,
choking on the sand giving
me life until death.
depression takes time
drops it into the black hole,
deleting the clock.
depression takes time,
and adds the years to your soul,
years you never lived.
the time we once had;
I feel it slipping away.
Only one grasping.
there was a time when
you loved me — ferocious love —
just an echo now.
there was a time when
I was your world, but you flew
away, astronaut.
bee has all the time —
buzzing, honey, and flowers —
a good life to have.
lion is no one’s
prey, except for time, even
lion’s not king there.
