Today’s haiku challenge:
This is another repeat one from Nov. 27. You can read the first 10 haiku poems I did for the prompt here.
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
I asked her to pause
the break inoculation,
but she plunged deeper.
I asked her to pause
the blood flowing away from
my dying heart. “No.”
I asked her to pause
the steely gaze of her browns;
they only turned black.
I asked her to pause
her footsteps fading away;
the echoes strangled.
I asked her to pause
her vampiric language, but
they punctured my neck.
