Today’s haiku challenge:
This is another repeat prompt word from not too long ago, Dec. 30, and you can read those five haiku poems here.
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
she thinks about me
like cancer to overcome
experience had.
she thinks about me
as wayward memories to
be batted away.
she thinks about me
only when the shadows beg
of her to do so.
she thinks about me
like a gravesite to visit;
no flowers in hand.
she thinks about me
mummified in her past, which
she can’t unravel.
