Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
She either loves me
or is now delusional,
loving brokenness.
She either loves me
or has become a martyr
rescuing the lost.
She either loves me
or I’m her raggedy doll
she’s holding on to.
She either loves me
or is a missionary
to a foreign land.
She either loves me
or has taken mercy on
an orphan of love.
The missionary haiku is wonderful. I also enjoyed the orphan analogy. Fun times! Either way, its charitable affection.
