My ‘Womp Womp’ Year in Blogging So Far

If you’ve been following my blog since I started it back up in late June 2020 – and thank you, if you have! – you may notice I haven’t been posting as often the first three weeks of this year. Honestly, I’m not sure why. I don’t know if it’s burnout because I did so many posts the previous six months. I don’t know if it’s the new antidepressant I’m on zapping me of my productivity. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been in the process of moving to a new home. I don’t know if it’s because I’ve been binge watching Bones and am up to season seven already and that’s taking up all of my free time. Or a bit of all four. (And more on all four of those topics at some point.) But whatever it is, my productivity has been down, save for mostly my daily haiku poems, which I will never stop doing. I enjoy them too much.

But I wanted to touch base with you all about why you haven’t been seeing my regular output of film reviews, poem analyses, writing thoughts, food reviews and the like. My regular posting will return, maybe even starting with this post!

I will say, I am kind of bummed about it because I wanted to get 2021 off to a strong start for the blog and instead it’s more like:

Womp womp.

Anyhow, as I mentioned, I have a lot of posts I’d like to get to that I’ve been putting off these last three weeks. So expect them soon!
