Haiku Challenge for Jan. 28: ‘Brave’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

brave of the flower
concrete manifestation
petals flap in wind.

brave of the beaver
facing streams and coyotes
lodging its place here.

brave of the mountain
weathering snow on its tips
and folly of man.

brave of the moonlight
with nighttime companionship
until dawn returns.

brave of him, who moved
through broken heart bits, anchored
by heavy shadows.
