Haiku Challenge Feb. 5: ‘Close’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

close my mind from you —
disproportionate cave in —
debris still falling.

close my mind from you —
hitting the iceberg head-on —
the ship still sinking.

close my mind from you —
hitchhiker on a long road —
nobody coming.

close my mind from you —
revolving around the sun —
hoping to burn up.

close my mind from you —
a stump left in the forest —
people climb over.
