Haiku Challenge for Feb. 4: ‘Rest’ (Part II)

Today’s haiku challenge:

This is a repeat prompt from Nov. 19, 2020. You can read the first 10 haiku poems here.

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

rest your head here like
storm clouds falling from the sky
and rain upon me.

rest your head here with
a faith leap, no parachute
and I will catch you.

rest your head here; my
shoulder has a crater spot
to fill your worries.

rest your head here; watch
as I crumble from its weight
and we both spiral.

rest your head here; love
disease puddles from our ears
waiting to devour.
