Today’s haiku challenge:
This is a repeat prompt word from Jan. 12. You can read my first five haiku poems here.
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
pull on my loose thread
to watch as I unravel
a broken gavel.
pull on my loose thread
to see my heart spliced apart
and scurry like mice.
pull on my loose thread
to hear the shadows emerge
a dying man’s surge.
pull on my loose thread
to feel the fading embers
a silent timber.
pull on my loose thread
to experience my loss
a fast-moving moss.
