Haiku Challenge for Feb. 15: ‘Aftermath’

Today’s haiku challenge:

Today's @baffled #HaikuChallenge: any haiku you like, as long as it has the word 'aftermath' in it….

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

facing aftermath
beautiful sun with solar
flares I can’t feel yet.

facing aftermath
beautiful sun with solar
winds brisk on my skin.

facing aftermath
beautiful sun, dying light
I grasp at nothing.

facing aftermath
beautiful sun, moon covered
love solar eclipse.

facing aftermath
beautiful sun, scattered light
hits me different.
