Haiku Challenge for Feb. 18: ‘Cold’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

your brown eyes, cold now
ice cubes swirling in darkness
no longer melting.

cold since you left me
candle floating in water
not able to drown.

cold hearts break harder
winter cemetery dirt
leaving no footprints.

cold depression blues
with anxiety blankets
mind still can’t get warm.

a world of cold dew
opaque distortion shadows
haunting my vision.
