Haiku Challenge for Feb. 17: ‘Ride’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:

I ride our love like
shooting stars disappearing
into a dark void.

I ride our love like
glistening water rapids
not looking ahead.

I ride our love like
a leaf seeing the soft grass —
not the changed colors.

I ride our love like
snowflakes drifting to hot tongues
incinerated.

I ride our love like
a tide coming to the shore
picking up debris.
