Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
try to rein her in
the memories like mucous
perpetual sick.
try to rein her in
soft, brown eyes like wild horses
unable to tame.
try to rein her in
pain of losing her; why does
nothing sit heavy?
try to rein her in
like trying to catch snowflakes
of a broken heart.
try to rein her in
like netting the wilderness
the trees will peek out.
