Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
wash me in acid
cleansing future fever dreams
for the present’s hell.
wash me in your tears
baptize in our brokenness
beautiful stained glass.
impossible to
outrun the depression wash
let the fibers in.
wash the platitudes
over my crumpled soul; watch
for the crevices.
abandonment wash.
my pores are familiar with
the bitter scent here.
