Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
remiss way of life,
living is slowly dying,
neglect everything.
I would be remiss
if I didn’t mention that
I will be remiss.
Moon would be remiss
if it didn’t credit the
Sun with everything.
Sun thinks the Moon is
too humble — would be remiss
to not mention that.
The light and darkness
seem at first as if they’re foes;
remiss to say, “Not.”
“Remiss.” If I say
it enough, it starts to sound
without its meaning.
The bee was remiss.
for forgetting the flower,
but he was napping.
Lion was remiss
when he let the antelope
go, but tomorrow …
He was remiss when
he stayed silent as she left.
Nothing more to say.
Sure, he was remiss
in their relationship, but
he still wanted her.
