Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
brain leak leak leak leak —
there’s nothing that can stop it —
it’s always leaking.
the brain leak started
when I was only a child,
dripping endlessly.
depression is not
a leak, so much as a void:
nothing left to leak.
anxiety is
not a leak, so much as a
torrential downpour.
self-deprecation
is when you spring your own leak
and don’t plug it back.
a broken heart is
an endless leak that has lost
its bucket person.
please leak the news to
me that you’re coming back home
to us. Together.
leak the news of my
delusion, that we’re still one —
witness my madness.
bee leaks a little
tear on the flower knowing
he soon will depart.
lion leaks some, too,
on the corpse, taunting it, but
lion is lion.
