Haiku Challenge for Sept. 17: ‘This’

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

“this” is the thing we
don’t say anymore; “this” is
what we used to have.

this way and that way,
tangled through time together,
we’re oblivious.

this was going to
be the year it all would change,
but then that happened.

“this,” so much bottled
into one syllable word,
waiting to erupt.

depression is the
“this” that becomes the reason
for not doing “that.”

I told you this time
would be different, but you
tired of hearing that.

“Is this yours?” you asked,
seeing my heart splattered there.
return to owner.

bee thought this pollen
would be a treat for flower,
so he buzzed over.

the bear was hot; this
river looked like a cool place
to dip his head in.

lion had no time
for this, he was on the hunt,
but she was pretty.
