Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are is my second version of this prompt:
naked depression
makes everyone avert their
eyes from the scars there.
naked depression
pushes everyone away
a volatile ball.
my naked brain would
be ashamed to be handled
by anyone else.
the naked darkness
somehow feels heavier than
clothed light ever does.
lightness of being
only happens when naked
in unconsciousness.
I feel most naked
when trapped within my own skin
with anxiety.
naked in birth and
in death, but we live lives shroud
in mask upon mask.
naked thoughts unspool
like entrails from a corpse at
the time of its death.
naked before you
fully clothed, but exposed still.
Death from elements.
death star shooting through
the universe, past planets
naked and misread.
