Haiku Challenge for Nov. 21: ‘Revisit’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

revisit the place
of my burial every
day, adding flowers.

revisit the break
in my sanity like a
madness detective.

I revisit us
in every waking moment
and in the dreams, too.

I revisit the
shadows like an old sweater
that still fits just right.

I revisit my
dying self in the mirror.
carrion comfort.

depression hallmark:
revisiting pain again
until permanent.

depression hallmark:
revisiting numb feelings
like an ice cold bath.

upon my death, I
revisit a life dying
inevitably.

revisit the leaf
fluttering by your feet; see
the stories carved there.

revisit the moon
hanging there, a calm presence.
shy in the daylight.
