Today’s haiku challenge:

This is a repeat prompt from Jan. 3. You can read my first five haiku poems here.

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 5 haiku poems.

sleep like a phoenix
unable to rise again,
he inhales ashes.

sleep like a phoenix
unable to rise again,
she smothered with ash.

sleep like a phoenix
in judgment of conscious pain
making the bargains.

sleep like a phoenix
burned by the depression fires
anxiety kills.

sleep like a phoenix
colors turned to black and greys
pretty no longer.
