Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
late blooms of the heart
turn suffocated fireflies
finish under ground.
late blooms of the heart
balloon until out of fire
crashing down through clouds.
late blooms of the heart
fire engine without wheels
scraping metal love.
late blooms of the heart
roasting pain on a campfire
memories won’t melt.
late blooms of the heart
build firewalls for protection
to watch as they fall.
