I haven’t done an original haiku in a looooong time. So, here ya go! I like to do the five-seven-five syllable structure, but otherwise, I’m sure I’m not doing haiku “right.” Nonetheless.
Frostbite
frostbite enveloped
my cerebral cortex; i
left the door opened.
