Well, color me shocked and I mean, shocked. Not that I personally put much stock in what the Pope has to say and that’s informed by not being religious. However, quite obviously, the Pope has a place of authority for a great many people all over the world. And if he says something, those people listen.
If they accept the Lord and have goodwill, who am I to judge them? They shouldn’t be marginalized.

Because Pope Francis is not upholding the traditional attitude to be heteronormative. He’s a laughable pope. Catholicism is strictly against homosexuality. Sodomy from gay men is a serious sin in Catholic scriptures. The Bible is heteronormative.
I’m bisexual and support same-sex marriage without expecting people to be obliged to accept me for my sexual orientation and political views. But, I ridicule Pope Francis for not doing his job properly.
