Batman

You gotta love this. Last night, I saw on my Facebook, Twitter and elsewhere that the Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice teaser trailer had leaked online, even though Warner Brothers wasn’t “officially” releasing it until Monday. I avoided looking at it, which took great will power, because I wanted to wait for a good quality version.

Lo and behold, WB officially released it tonight, ahead of Monday, obviously. Why not? So, that’s cool. Oh and here that trailer is:

Man, I think it’s great. I’m sure, as usual, it’ll get a lot of the, “lol DC so serious,” reactions, but I love DC’s style, I loved Man of Steel and I think this trailer looks promising.

Batman with the:

“Tell me, do you bleed?”

“You will.”

Gave me chills. Cool voice, too.

I think it’s great that they are moving in the direction of questioning Superman’s legitimacy and arrival on earth. His “god-like” status, if you will. It’s a logical direction to go in after Man of Steel. If a being like Superman just arrived on earth, you don’t think people would be questioning the shit out of that and his existence would be polarizing? It would be.

Which is the perfect set up for this man:

Jesse Eisenberg

“See the havoc he wreaked on our city? He’s too powerfu. He could kill us all. You need me to lead you against him.”

Okay, I’m sure he’ll say something better than that. He looks great, too. Eisenberg has always been one of my favorites, so I’m excited to see what he can do in this film.

The only thing I’d say is that I wish we had seen some hint of Wonder Woman, but I guess they want to save that for later trailers or the actual film.
