Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:
release me from your
grip, watch me float away like
an overturned fish.
release me from this
demon in my chest, perform
your exorcism now.
depression is a
parasite — will release me
when I’m not useful.
anxiety will
never release its shaky
hold it has on me.
release me from these
negative thoughts — a plastic
bag, suffocating.
release me from these
four walls — imprisoned in my
own brain, pacing.
upon my release
I shall float above the dark
cloud for once, free there.
release me from this
sanity overloading
my brain, crashing it.
bee releases its
pollen upon the flower
like gentle raindrops.
lion releases
roars throughout the Sahara,
sends zebras running.
