Haiku Challenge for Dec. 6: ‘Make’

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 10 haiku poems:

please unmake me; you
configured me with wrong parts.
my brain left to spin.

make me a life, fill
it with the trappings of joy,
and I’ll make it void.

I make a cup of
tea to watch the steam leave it;
drink the metaphor.

trees make new leaves in
the spring after old ones fall
rake the metaphor.

we’d make out by the
shed cloaked in darkness and steam.
but weeds grow there now.

we were to make a
life. Disintegration said
it had other plans.

depression makes dark
circles like diseased bubbles
a kid would blow out.

depression unmakes
remakes, unmakes, and remakes.
identity lost.

anxiety makes
nerve tripwires in the body
waiting to go off.

make me a cocktail
to drown my memories, so
I can forget her.
