Haiku Challenge for Dec. 12: ‘Change’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five (yes, I’m still doing five!) haiku poems:

change me out of my
moldy, loved-logged skin, stinking
of bitter regret.

depression change up:
slow moving melancholy
with worse on the seams.

anxiety change:
flipping one nerve over the
other. brain braiding.

new year, new change comes.
suffocating calendar
squeezing time from me.

change the clock back, please
one more moment with your browns.
feel the warmth again.
