Haiku Challenge for Dec. 29: ‘Pressure’

Creative Commons photo.

Today’s haiku challenge:

My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my 5 haiku poems.

my pressure cooker:
depression, anxiety
making me a soup.

love pressure whittled
me to wisps of smoke drifting
as cancerous clouds.

measure life’s pressure
by its grooves upon my back
like a beauty mark.

pressure to perform.
a bleeding marionette
unable to speak.

cranium pressure
aneurysm of memories
flooding the system.
