Poem: Tantalizing

Creative Common photos.

My latest original five-line poem.

Tantalizing

The precipice dangles from my lips, beckoning
join us in our descent where the bottom is dead
my stomach is already taking the plunge without me,
as my eyes hang on, flirting with normalcy — reality
is a tantalizing mistress, but not as much as the fall.
