Today’s haiku challenge:
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. This is my first time trying to do a throughline with all five haiku poems.
Here are my five haiku poems:
and I came to your
home, meant for two; welcome mat
soiled with all my fear.
and ceiling staring,
watching your words dissolve as
bloody stains up there.
and when we were done
I slouched home to the covers;
you stood tall again.
and you went marching
on in the parade, while I
floated without string.
and you left me here
slurping the gutter water.
bacteria friends.
