Today’s haiku challenge:
This is a fairly recent repeat prompt word from Jan. 30. You can read my original five haiku poems here.
My style is the five/seven/five syllable structure. Here are my five haiku poems:
already dying
the bee who used its stinger
too soon, fading now.
already dying
like seeds planted in cold earth
sunlight can’t reach me.
already dying
manchurian candidate
of my own shadows.
already dying
inhaling mouthfuls of dirt
despite my tight lips.
already dying
wrestling memory demons
and always losing.
